Homemade Cashew Hemp Milk

As a lactose intolerant person, I'm constantly trying new dairy free milk recipes. Here's one rich in protein, thanks to hemp seeds! Hemp seeds, or hemp hearts, are the seeds of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). Many people ignore hemp seeds because they think they could get 'high'. This is of course, not true. In fact, you should include hemp seeds and hemp seed oil in your diet often, as hemp seeds are the ultimate healing food. To buy hemp seeds, go here. They are a great source of vitamin E and minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc, are highly digestible and gluten-free!
