If you've been following me for a while, you know I ❤️ all things hemp. Hemp seeds are a staple in my kitchen as you can use them in numerous ways.
Hemp seeds are the seeds of the hemp plant Cannabis sativa. They are exceptionally nutritious, rich in healthy fats and protein. As a high quality plant protein source, they are interesting if you follow a vegan or vegetarian diet or if you just decide to eat less meat as in the pegan diet. For people, who like me, don't support legumes, hemp seeds are a very digestible plant protein source. For this simple recipe - I use these hemp seeds.
When it comes to coffee, even after listening to Michael Pollan's book Caffeine I still enjoy my afternoon coffee. I highly recommend the book whether you are a coffee lover or not.
