Essential Oils for Fall
It's fall y'all and that means it’s time for all the spicy aromas that you kept in your cupboard during summer. The scents I like to diffuse at this time of year are a combination of warm, cozy spices and bright, fragrant herbs. Social media is full of all things pumpkin spice and there's a reason for it - pumpkin spice is warming and healing. Ginger, a well know rhizome is good for controlling nausea of all types. It is also an excellent digestive, aiding in the absorption of food, and elimination of gas and bloating. Ginger stimulates circulation so it is good for cold hands and feet and we all need that in the cold months that lie ahead!
Cloves is a powerful antifungal and antimicrobial, making it a clear choice to promote digestive health.
Cinnamon helps with reducing blood glucose levels in those with type 2 diabetes, and is also proven to reduce triglycerides, LDL (“bad” cholesterol) and total cholesterol, as well as ward off urinary tract infections.
I've been using Young Living essential oils for years and I'm especially fond of the Thieves EO when the fall season comes. Thieves Essential Oil is an extremely powerful blend of the following essential oils: Clove Bud, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon, and Rosemary. Each of these essential oils have amazingly potent properties. When blended together, they can provide serious relief from germs, coughs, colds, and other ailments.

After a stressful day or a trick or treat night, a bathtime blend is exactly what you need! Blend the essential oils with 2 tbsp of jojoba or fractionated coconut oil or epsom salts and enjoy!
