5 Minutes Avocado Sauce

With warmer days ahead, we often crave more veggies and salads. But often, veggies taste bland for people who are not used to eat them. That is where a sauce can make a huge difference in liking or disliking a vegetable. As store-bought sauces are a no-no in a healthy kitchen (with some exceptions), I often whip up this incredibly easy sauce. It is made in less than five minutes!

5 Minutes Avocado Sauce


1 ripe avocado

60 ml kefir or other fermented liquid milk (I used homemade goat kefir)

juice of half lemon

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (store bought or homemade)

salt and pepper

some parsley


1. Throw all ingredients in a blender and mix thoroughly.

2. Optional: top with parsley leaves and chive flowers. Enjoy with baked sweet potatoes, a salad or as a dip for vegetable sticks.
